I'm responsible for a SharePoint 2007 (about to migrate to SP2010) team site which has a list containing about 1000 items. Twice in the last month, the EditForm.aspx form has somehow become corrupted. Apparently the web part that displayed the edit form is gone and (as far as I can tell) irretrievable. Not sure how relevant this is, but I placed a CEWP containing jQuery to render the form in multiple tabs on the page using toolpaneview=2 about a year ago.
Question: Does anyone have experience with a jQuery web part wreaking havoc with a form or list? Also, has anyone seen the default editing web part disappear from EditForm.aspx? Thanks in advance for any help!
