How to display 'ASP:Button' based on User Permission Level.

Hi,

I have a requirement wherein there will be a button on the sharepoint page, which navigates user to some other page, I need to display this button based on the 'User permission' Level. i.e, the button should not be visible to visitors with 'Read' permissions where as it can be seen by the people who have 'ManageList' permission.

I tried with wrapping up <Asp:Button> tag using <SharePoint:SPSecurityTrimmedControl> but it didnt help.

Any help on this would be really appreciated.
