I am facing a problem in a sharepoint 2010 based project.
I have document content type and customer have provided new updated document temple. And customer wants to have both document templates in the same list.
List get created with custom site creation wizard and depending upon the values provided while creating project site the default values of this list get set.
As both the documents were sharing same metadata I inherited old content type and used new update template in child content type. When site and list get created my both content types are available in list and both have same fields(as its been inherited). can see List -> setting > Default values = all columns and the used in both content types.. But when I create a document based on old template default values get assigned to item properties but with new template default values of list doesn't.
Can Someone please help me this problem?
