I have found some strange behaviors when deploying discussion boards:
- if any app (content editor, Link App) is added to a view page in edit mode the Ribbon "Item/List" tabs disappear. deleting the web part/app will show them again.
- The Approve/Reject view under Moderation does not work. Even if you edit it, it does not seem to take the changes. I am unable to select approve or reject items.
- The My Submissions view does not work by default you have to create it yourself. If you select this view then select "My Discussion" you get an error alert:"<div class="ms-vb">Unable to render the data. If the problem persists contact your web server administrator. </div><br/><br/>Correlation ID:1797979c-9066-5046-5752-a726c143dfa8<br/>".
By the way this discussion board is much nicer and better designed than the SharePoint Discussion Boards. Just sayin... csk
