We have created a simple Defect tracking system with some simple work flows. They employ a customized Save form. Saves of list items (at various processing points) fail to persist revised data. Sometimes reapplying the change results in an update that persists
the data other times no amount of tinkering with fields seems to trigger the persistence.
There are no error messages when the Save is executed (by clicking Save button). From the user perspecitive the Save appears to have been succesful and they don't have any reason to suspect their update was lost.
The problem first existed in 2010 and occurs in 2013 after migration.
Are there some obvious things to suspect as the cause for this problem?
