Issues with embedded report not recursively finding data in a sub folder

Hi:

Am stuck.  Have an InfoPath form that is published to a SharePoint forms library.  The users put completed forms in sub folders in this library: example

Library: my forms

               folder1

               folder2

Used a hyper link inside of the InfoPath form and the report will run when the form is in the root of the library but does NOT search folders beneath the root.

Have not been able to find a working example.

Anyone have any ideas?
