Excel web app content update issue

I recently faced a wierd glitch. When someone updates an Excel speadsheet that is on Sharepoint in Excel application on a computer and saves it, and then clicks on that same document in a browser to view it, content of a spreadsheet apears to not updated, but if you cliick Edit in Browser button it updates contents and start showing updated content after that. Please advice what can be a cause and what can be done to eliminate this issue.
