help required regarding to term filter(on Manage Metadata type column) by specific word in OOB Manage metadata column type

I am looking to modify Manage Metadata type column filter : Currently its filter tags(terms) OOB by Character so can we filter by Term by specific word either middle, first or last ? Ex. South East America(Term), I should able to get filter by"East" word to get the complete term.
