Hi i am trying to create a Shared Data source in SharePoint 2010. However, when I try to test the server source connection I get these errors:

Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportProcessing.ReportProcessingException: , Microsoft.ReportingServices.ReportProcessing.ReportProcessingException: Cannot create a connection to data source ''. ---> System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. Does anyone know why this is happening? From what I understand the SharePoint server has access to the data source; the user has access to both; and the the connection setting is windows authentication.
