Count users in "Assigned to" field

Hi,

I work with SPF 2010.

In a task list, I would like to count the number of users in the "Assigned To" field (people picker).

Let's say I have 3 fields:

Title: Task 1

Assigned to: Mark, Linda, Paul

Count:  3 (but how do I get this)
