Powershell script to remove all the permissions on a folder.

I want to acheive the following:

a) Remove all permissions on a specific folder in Document Library.

b) Provide permissions for specific groups on this folder.

Part b - Complete.

I am not able to achieve part a.

Any ideas how I can achieve this? I want to do this in PowerShell only.
